It was "A"s birthday party today. A small affair, as we went ten pin bowling we were able to keep the number of children to a minimum, which worked for me. Anyway, I baked the cake. I still think it is nice to have home made cake. This one is lemon sponge. The theme, horses.

Well done! It reminds me of the birthday cakes my mum used to make, which is a real compliment - my mum would have a go at anything, and did some brilliant cakes. I don't really make cakes any more - I kind of miss it but I'm too busy.
