Matter

I love Iain M Banks as an author. I think he is one of the greats. He has an amazing, if deep and complex, understanding of humanity. And on a lonely night in London I leave you with this from his latest:

"And to be human, to be anything like human, is to know what one lacks, to know what one needs, to know what one must look for to find some semblance of completeness amongst strangers, all alone in the darkness."
