Pity me. Today is "A"s 5th birthday. Woken up early by one excited girl. Later we have the party with 33 other children. A disco party! It is going to be a long day.
a 'disco' party? for a 5 year old. OMG. hell. and 34 of them? it doesn't bear thinking about. i'm going to go and have a lie down. just the thought of it ahs exhausted me.

Disco parties seem to be the in thing. I was trying to remember howold I was when I first went to one. I know it was significantly older. In reality a 5 year disco party is music, lights and children racing around.

Purpose of childrens birthday parties are just to remind you how much you like your own children.
