Ashes - Day 3, Sydney

As expected. The Aussies manage to bat on and post a good score. Whereas England crumble, Aussies dominate. So we are in our second innings. We have already lost 5 wickets for only 114 runs, and that effectively means we are 12 runs ahead.

Just how sensible it was for Collingwood to start sledging Warne remains to be seen. Or rather, it doesn't. Already fired up by his imminent retirement it appears a bit of verbal was all he needed to really get going. 71 runs is a more than respectable score for someone who has changed from being a bowler to an all-rounder. Warne has been the thorn in Englands side for so long and in so many ways.
