I didn't say it was fair for you to apologise....I have no idea..but if bad feeling has continued since any New Year I am suggesting time to apologise as a way of ending it - who should to apologise to whom is irrelevent!!!!
I think that the interesting point is that sometimes an apology by itself is not going to be the answer, no matter from who. I think that is why going to bed on an argument is so bad, that you can end up with it being a mark drawn in the sand, and the actual argument itself is irrelevant. And at new year it is the ultimate line, hard to ever cross back over.

Two interesting assumptions there. 1) It is me that needs to do the apologising; 2) That I refer to New Year 2006.
to be fair to Sally, it is your blog, so 1) is a reasonable assumption to make....
